A routine inspection and flush is recommended to be performed at least once a year.

Some of the Benefits of a flush and inspection:

Cleans Out Sediment. The number one culprit behind water heater failure is sedimentary build up within the tank. ...

    Reduce Water Heater Noise. ...

    Improve Heating Speeds. ...

    Reduce Energy Costs. ...

Avoid Foul Odors From Stagnant Water.

    Extend equipment life

    Ensure warranty protection

When scheduled Precision Will complete the filling steps during the multi point inspection and flush.

  • Tankless Water heater Routine Maintenance

Tankless hot water heaters are great for people who want energy efficiency and hot water on demand. They are compact in size, and they are quickly becoming the best choice for water heaters for both residential and businesses. It is important that if you own a tankless hot water heater, that you do proper water heater maintenance on it. Doing routine maintenance can help your water heater to last beyond twenty years.

Mineral build up over the year on the heat exchanger can cause damage to the heater. If the home has hard water the build up collects even faster. Damage due to mineral build up is not covered under the warranty.

  • Sump Pump Maintenance

The homes sump pump is one of the most important parts of a plumbing system. A sump pump is a submersible device installed in a sump pit dug at the lowest point of your house, such as the basement or crawl space. This small but important addition to your home helps prevent your basement from flooding. Here’s how it works: Most of the time, the pump is on standby, simply waiting until it’s needed. When it begins to rain heavily, the soil around your house becomes oversaturated. Excess groundwater funnels toward the sump pit, and it begins to fill with water. This activates the sump pump float switch and turns on the pump.

Over time the pump pit can fill with debris. This debris can sometimes get pumped into the propeller of the pump and cause it to jam, leading to thousands of dollars in damages due to flooding.

Our maintenance package for the sump pump includes the following

    -Pulling out the pump

-Cleaning the pit and removing debris

    -inspecting float switch

    -inspecting condition of the pump

-checking proper operation of the check valve

    -Reinstalling the pump

    -Inspecting pit cap

    -Testing for proper output

    -Updating inspection label
